Now in English

Hi everyone!
This is my first blog post in English, and for a very good reason. Up until now, I wrote urban fantasy in French, for the French market. Recently, I decided I wanted to join in on the English-speaking market fun. I had two books translated, then went on to translate the third myself (with professional proofreading, I am not that delusional about my skills).
The English-speaking market (in particular the American market) is a tough nut to crack. As a new author on this continent, I have a lot to learn. I will use this blog as a journal to keep track of my efforts, reader’s reactions, and anything that happens on that front.

Bonjour les gens !
Voici mon premier article en anglais, et ce pour une bonne raison. Jusqu’à présent, j’écrivais de l’urban fantasy en français, pour le marché français. Récemment, j’ai décidé de me lancer sur marché anglophone. J’ai fait traduire deux livres, puis j’ai traduit le troisième moi-même (avec une relecture professionnelle, je ne me fais pas d’illusions sur mes compétences). 
Le marché anglophone (en particulier le marché américain) est un marché difficile à pénétrer. En tant que nouvelle autrice sur ce continent, j’ai beaucoup à apprendre. Je me servirai de ce blog comme d’un journal pour suivre mes efforts, les réactions des lecteurs et tout ce qui peut arriver à mes livres et à moi-même dans cette nouvelle entreprise.
